The Farm

Two people, twelve acres, since 1999.

David & Tonya Lindsay bought this farm in 1999 and have been growing and improving it every year since.

David came to it from ranching, in a Texas upbringing. Tonya spent more than ten years as a Master Gardener with Nevada County. Together they decided to share their love of growing and raising things with their neighbors and friends — and that is still, quite literally, the whole business model.

The farm is worked as a permaculture system and grown organically: fruit and nut trees, vegetable beds, herbs, teas and cutting flowers layered across twelve acres of foothill hillside.

Community Supported Agriculture

2026 Season · June 15 – October 15

Our CSA works differently than most.

No big upfront fees. You pay a $35 deposit for your first box, then pay as you go. Take one box a month or two — your choice.

  • A bouquet of flowers in every box

Shares are taken at the start of each season, so that everyone gets a true share of what the farm has that Tuesday — which means we don't add new members once the season is under way. New shares open for 2027. In the meantime we'd still love to send you home with fresh herbs, teas, flower bouquets or a wreath.
